Dr. ImportSerbian donkey cheese

Quality and traceability

Rare products attract vague claims. We would rather document every batch than tell a story.

What comes with every batch

  • The producer and production site.
  • The batch number and best-before date.
  • The real composition, including the goat's milk share.
  • The accompanying documents required to import into Switzerland.
  • Temperature records from transport.

Labelling

Food sold in Switzerland must be labelled in at least one official language and must state the name, ingredients, allergens, quantity, durability date, storage conditions, country of production and the responsible business. Our deliveries are prepared on that basis; trade customers also receive the matching product sheet.

What we turn down

A batch with a broken cold chain, incomplete paperwork, or an appearance that does not match what was announced does not ship. We postpone the delivery and tell you straight away rather than send out something doubtful.

Donkey cheese exists in tiny volumes, and counterfeits — goat's cheese resold under the name — do exist. Always ask for the composition and origin of the batch.
